maybe you have a problem in your actuator. i think a replacement one costs around 250 petot. the OEM ones cost around a couple of thousands. so i suggest you go for the replacement. serves the same purpose.

actuators can still be fixed. you just need to know where to have them done. replacements are cheap but per my experience, they don't last that long.

just lubricate all moving parts by spraying them with silicon spray. Move it every now and then so the lubricant can penetrate the unreachable parts.

after then see if it works. If it does not, then you may need to replace your actuator.

start with simple solutions first para di mapamahal...

    * sir 1D4LV and moe, anu b ung actuator at OEM (sori po)?

actuator is the mechanism which enables the doors to be opened remotely. normally, all 4 doors have actuators and when you press the unlock button on the remote (or central lock/unlock button driver's side) the 4 of them open simultaneously. OEM i believe means Original equipment manufacturer or something like that. i'd go for oem actuators, the taiwan made actuators didn't even last a year on my car. however, others claim that theirs lasted more than 4 years.
