most new cars ba may built-in immobilizer na? or does this come with the alarm?

yung lynx ba meron? sabi kasi ng previous owner ayaw nga daw mag start yung car sa duplicate key niya (not the key from ford)

is the built-in engine immobilizer enough? kasi when i used a duplicate 'CardKey', ayaw magstart nung engine. so does this mean kahit i-tap nila yung wire underneat the steering column hindi rin mag start yung engine?
