same here, sa akin naman after 10yrs nasira na yung receiver ng factory installed alarm w/o shock sensor ng honda. kapag papalitan daw sa casa nasa 9k. kaya nag-upgrade na lang ako ng autopage rf-225a.

newbie question. yang mga car alarm ba ngayon like LL and Autopage e tatalab sa GSR 99 model?
baka kasi may nag iba na sa mga bagong modelo ng kotse

dati nagpakabit ako sa mas older pang model ng vehicle ok naman at wala naging problema. isa sa tinatanong ng installer kung may central lock na ba yung sasakyan mo.

I got a beret car alarm for my nissan exalta and had it installed by Jemson of banawe, maayos naman ang install pero I notice na after disabling the alarm pag open mo yung pinto nag hahazard light sya lagi. Is there a way to really disable the alarm? paano na pag may ginagawa ka, malolobat na lang baterya mo sa kaka ilaw ng hazard... ganun din ba sa mga alarms nyo? I will return to jemson for other electrical works pero gusto ko lang din makakuha ng inputs sa inyo. Also, this beret alarm comes with a blank key, the problem lang na nakita nung keysmith is medyo maigsi yung kanal ng susi kumpara sa orig na susi, pero papa subukan ko pa rin ipa duplicate to see if it works.

go with the branded one na lang or check mo yung forum kung ano suggested nilang alarm na mura pero maganda.

Inobserbahan ko sya at natigil naman yung hazard blinking nya after a minute, pero napansin ko din na may instance na nag fla-flash yung hazard intermittently-- minsan 3 fast blinks tapos minsan di sabay yung left and right na flash. Nakausap ko yung seller and he said na most likely kulang sa grounding yung isang door, kasi na experience na nya ito before. He also mentioned na dapat park light ang nailaw hindi yung hazard... ganun ba sa inyo? sorry noob pa ako sa ganito

I also have an exalta. I had cobra alarm installed. The fog, hazard and park light are flashing if may door na di nakasara. But after 15 flashes, automatically na titigil. Included feature ata, I don't like it though. I'm planning to remove the alarm and replace it with only a keyless entry system. It causes my car's battery to die if I don't use it for more than three days. I don't have private parking space so expected na the alarm is going on and off most of the time.

Do you have any idea if this is possible? Keyless entry system without alarm? Meron pa ba? Or usually, it comes with alarms already? Thanks!

Ano ba talaga dapat ang iilaw pag bukas mo ng pinto? Parklight or hazzard? Best practic. DAW is hazard para safe pag bukas ng pinto..

Paghimayin yung alarm wiring, dalawa line ng "door ajar" light. It's made for left and right signal light... Pwede naman kasi tap yun kahit saan, kahit brake light. Standard practice lang yung sa signal light.

I always use autopage for aftermarket alarms once I want to change the stock security system. I currently have these installed in 3 vehicles and will most likely have a 4th one installed soon. The one installed in the sedan also has a function to open the trunk so I can open it remotely such as when I'm carrying grocery items. It also has a remote start that comes on a separate key fob. I rarely use it though since I usually forget that it's there.

It's the C3-RS-665. The separate key fob is the C3-RS-665 2W. Installing it took a while though and because of the remote trunk opener, I can't lock my trunk anymore since if I do, the remote mechanism gets disaligned. So long as I don't lock it, it works flawlessly. The remote start works in the same way as those push start / stop buttons except it's outside the car. There's also a provision if you want to attach a remote window opener to roll down your front windows remotely but I never bothered with that.

remote stat will not work if not in neutral or park for A/T and parking brakes not engaged for MT (remote start not recommended for MT)

Thanks Stigg for the reply. Looks like it's not really recommended for MT. Because you can still crank the car even if in gear.
