I don't really like bundling systems together (e.g. alarm and turbo timer combo). If one fails, the other goes too. Sort of like the scanner/printer/copier/etc. we have at the ward.
On my vehicle, the turbo timer and alarm are separate but jameson found a way for them not to go against each other.
Fargin,
AFAIK, it takes one or two minutes for the sensors to engage. So after you arm the alarm, if a door is still open, it will not trigger immediately.
On more expensive alarms, the arm tone will be different to remind you that a door is still ajar and the door sensor for the open door will not activate (it assumes you left it open on purpose (e.g. a long load extending out of the tailgate).

Doc Otep,
Tama nga po kayo na it should be done separately, pag nasira yung isa hindi apektado yung isa, that's a good idea...sir doctor po ba kyo ng kotse
hehehe..dami kc nyong alam eh..anyway thanks for the advise, pakabit na lang din po ako ng alarm kay jameson anytime this week.
Isang tanong pa pala sir, ano po mas maganda FORCE o SNY? o pareho lang? mas prefered ko po kc sny....

Sir Fargin,
If there is an open door then you arm it, the system would chirp thrice, if every doors are closed properly. you should hear only a single chirp.
If just in case you hear 6 chirps it means its on the locator mode. You can just un-arm it and re-arm it to be sure.
I'm still on the learning process though with regard to understanding this Alarm Model.I cant seem to understand as well the Actice and Passive mode that it does. If anyone who also have this type installed. Pls also provide feedback. thanks!

Based on the Force's package contents (as posted by OTEP), no siren horn has been included as opposed to the SNY.
Does the Force use the car's horn in lieu of a siren horn?

September 25th, 2009 12:16 AM #65nope, may horn po shang kasama which makes that elegant sosi sound when you arm/disarm the alarm.
once ko palang natry yung press arm with a door open (all the other 3 doors are properly closed) and no sound heard, nag-engage lang yung central door locks. anyways bukas try ko uli..

Hi Doc Otep,
I'm also planning to get the service of jameson with regards to my electrical problems, can I just tell him that you referred him. I already got his cell number from this thread and planning to text him tomorrow if he's free to check my Crosswind.
thanks.

September 26th, 2009 06:00 PM #67Hello Dr. Rivera (OTEP),
I'm thinking of getting the FORCE Security System for my Dad's 2005 Ford Everest because one of the remotes died and the other one is losing it's sensitivity. Since you had one previously installed; is the remote durable enough? Like if the plastics don't crack and the rubber on the buttons don't disintegrate. And your comment on the over-all system reliabilty.
I really need your advice on this since my Dad is also a Doctor and uses his car everyday and his car keys get treated like hell on a daily basis.
And about the "automatic central locking" feature do the door locks really activate automatically when you start the ignition?
And thanks for posting Jameson's number I'll contact him soon...

Tholitz, no problem. The relay won't cost more than Php250.00. Sa carshow Php100.00 lang ang bentahan.
So far, my system is ok. The remote is always hanging on my belt loop. Hitting things, etc. When I sleep on duty, nadadaganan ko pa.
And last Ondoy, nabasa din yung controller ng baha.
So far, so good.pati yung system ko sa sasakyan walang problem despite fording bumper deep water.
