Kakabili ko lang ng dashcam, nakakalito ang news, meron articles na hindi daw kasama ang dashcam sa ADDA, meron naman, na pwede lang siya as long as nasa likod ng rearview mirror, alin ba ang tama, gusto ko sana nakalitaw konti below the rearview mirror, para madali pindutin ang controls at makikita ang menu.

Or does it even matter? sa mga long time users, tama ba yung iniisip ko or rare lang naman na gagalawin yan kaya ok lang na nasa likod ng mirror?

Just place in the upper middle portion of the windshield, usually behind the rearview mirror para di istorbo.

Very rare lang gagalawin yan. Yung sakin kahit sinagad ko na sa taas yung suction cup may nakalitaw pang kaunti.

Thanks for the replies, hindi ko maisagad sa itaas dahil sa rfid sticker, nangyari tuloy, nakalitaw ang kalahati below the mirror. Testingin ko muna bukas bago ko ilipat, pero sagabal talaga yung rfid sticker, hirap nito adhesive tape ang holder at hindi suction cup, makahanap nga sa Lazada para sa xiaomi yi.

May "libreng" 16 Gb micro sd card kaso 48 mb lang ang speed, kailangan pala nitong cam ay at least 80 mb, altho nakaka record naman ng video, di ko lang alam kung nalilimit nya ang quality becos of the speed limit.

Btw, ok lang ba ito nakabilad sa araw? walang bubong ang parking from mon - fridays eh

Madali masira ang battery under extreme heat. Worst case is sumabog ang battery. Lagyan mo na lang ng foldable car shade and windshield when parked

vague yung rule na yan, mga tao tuloy kanya kanyang interpretasyon lalo na yung mga "enterprising" traffic enforcers!!! that's why i'm planning on buying a small enough dashcam na sakto sa likod ng rearview mirror tapos display and control nya sa cellphone via bluetooth, or better yet yung dashcam that looks like a rearview mirror na mismo...

I have 2 units transcend drive dp200, 1 sjcam4000 and 1 xiaomi yi dashcam

All have wifi function for download of video via app. Day video are all good except for xiaomi and sjcam.. one issue i encounter with transcend is that it sometimes stop recording and you need to pull the usb plug and back again to resume. Comes with basic attachments, SD card and a bulky power adaptor equipped with mini usb port!

for sjcam, battery bloated after 2 years. Lacks its own power adaptor out of the box but comes with several attachments that can be used.

For xiaomi usual is the unit is still in chinese version.. updating to english is easy but needs a little know how.. also it comes with lane change and collision warning. Comes with basic attachment. Nice usb cable and a very discreet power adaptor..

Out of the three.. i recommend transcend for quality video and its capacitor based power source. If price is a factor xiaomi yi is a good alternative!

Tested ko na trancend one time nasabitan lang ako small bump lang pero nag emergency save nya yung video files sa ibang folder not on the one nagloop recording sya. Highly recommended 👍

Hmmm battery? Why would it turn on & off if it's plugged? It is constantly plugged naman right?

You might want to check out Xiaomi Yi. I think it's now less than P3k.

Get one that uses capacitors instead of batteries.

Yes, I've tried din to charge in outlet pero nag o-on-off talaga sya. Ayaw niya mag on in short.

Yung binili ko ay G1W-CB. Capacitor siya so walang heat-related battery issue. Pag-off ng makina,automatic off din siya after 2 to 3 seconds. Sa FB seller ko siya kinuha. Search mo yung Item Shop (weird ng name no, very generic pero legit siya).

any dual dashcam (yung meron para sa rear) na video quality is as good as xiaomi yi? i wouldn't need the extra features like gps, lane detection, wifi, etc. importante lang yung basic requirements ng dashcam (cycle recording, auto start, auto save, etc) at malinaw din sa gabi.

Lahat ba ng transcend capacitor? dahil nabasa ko yung sa web site nila lithium polymer gamit nila sa dp230. Kaya nalilito ako if capacitor ba ang transcend or battery. I'm planning to buy a new dash cam and budget ko is either the ddpai mini 2 or m4 (both capacitor) or pwede pa siguro ma adjust up to transcend 230 price range. Yung blackvue di na kaya ng budget. Mostly bilad sa araw kasi ang parking area ng unit ko.

As far as I know, only the DP200 is capacitor, which is why I chose it over the other Transcend models. The rest of the models use lithium polymer, which may be a problem if the car is left under the high heat all day.

So ang dp200 lang pala ang may capacitor sa dp line up. And mas cheaper ng 1k mahigit ang dp200 kesa dp230.

Hinahanap ko sana is yung may magandang mga kuha ng video sa gabi but sa budget ko I dont think I can get that feature But I'm sure it will be better than than my previous cheapo brand.

To share, the Sjcam legend that I used as a dashcam for 4 months has a bloated battery pushing out the bottom part of the lcd screen while the transcend dp220 that I have installed on 2 other cars are still working well for more than 2 years now.
