same here.... if you can afford the camera and the HU, then go for it.
otherwise, a sensor would be just fine.
mas mahirap ang wala, although you can still survive it. ngayon lang namang technology yan eh.... dati walang ganyan.

Ano ma ssuggest niyo na back up camera na kahit gabi malinaw?
Yung sa Grand Starex ko grey market unit siya may built in na back up camera pero lately nawala yun pala nahati na nalaglag yung lens ng camera kaya wala ng nakikita

yun bang mga parking guide lines sa display coming from the camera mismo or nasa monitor? balak ko kasi magpalit to 2din display na headunit tapos ikakabit ko dun yung rear camera. pero baka kasi mawala yung parking/guide lines. i find it very useful pa naman kung masyado na ako dikit sa likod or hindi pa.

Galing sa camera yung parking guide lines. If you connect the camera to a TV screen, it will still display the parking guide lines.

the electrical warranty will probably get void, if something goes wrong.
if nothing goes wrong... for what will you need that warranty?

    you wallet probably won't.

Nothing has ever gone wrong from a simple wire tap for the reverse sensor ... unless the installer is really inept ...

^ unless its the same SOB that installed the foglamps on my car.

For crying out loud, naka tap yung 12volt source ng pair of 55 watt fog lamp sa cigarette lighter!

Good thing i decided to inspect the wiring.

    heh heh.

hi mga sirs/ma'ams, ask ko lang if meron ba kayong marerecommend na dashcam na ok at budget meal lang? i am leaning towards at this:

4.” Full HD 18 Vehicle Blackbox DVR with Night Vision | Lazada PH

sa lazada kaso sabi nila di daw maganda and my colleague recommended yung Yi Dashcam:

    Yi Dash Cam | DashCamTalk

    thanks sa inputs! ;)

I've been using 2 Yi Dashcams for almost a year now. IMHO, the quality of the footages even at night or low light areas are at par or exceeds other brand like Transcend, Polaroid. In fact Yi Dashcams are much cheaper.

thank you sir *Smartbuddy, at least maliban sa katrabaho ko na nagsasabi na ok, which i've seen din nung nagpunta kami sa parking at pinakita nya pero kasi wala pa kong idea ibang brands kung ok din naman at a reasonable price. Yi Dashcam is priced at Php2,699.00 while yung unang link ko nakuha ko sa lazada is ~1,200.00 with rear cam na. please help me decide. thanks!

No problem Sir. Don't buy those unbranded or di kilala na brand sa lazada. It's just a waste of money... Na try ko na rin yun... My brother is using Transcend (i forgot the specific model) but I think it's the top-of-the-line model. I've seen the sample videos. Hehehe... You can also check on internet the review of Yi but for me ok siya.

Tama si Smartbuddy. I am currently using a Yi Dashcam. We even installed this to a heavy equipment in our company, and still running smoothly for 2 months now. Hindi aircon yung equipment and used outside except that it is protected from rain. Re Lazada, don' t trust electronic gadgets from them, I have also tried dashcams from them, very poor quality. Thanks.

Yung naka kabit kasi sa starex performs very weak compared to the backup sensor sa sta fe. Gusto ko palitan yung sa starex pero i don't know what is the best available one. I tried asking kung may sta fe backup sensor pero walang binebenta dito.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks
