    Is there a way to get into the car or start the car if the remote mulfunctioned?

    I think there's a hidden key in the remote just in case the remote malfunctioned and yes you could start it by inserting the key usually in the glove compartment so that the car could recognize it.

    there is always a backup method/system just in case the remote malfunctioned... so the answer is there is a way to get into the car or start the car if the remote malfunctioned

    depends on the car manufacturer... i suggest you read your owners manual....

    also common sense suggest that the engineers who designed and created this already thought of this scenario...

    I don't have a car equipped with push start function. I was just reading another forum cursing their push-start equipped vehicles for not able to start while in the middle of the desert.

    this is true. you can still start the engine by inserting the key (mine is located in the arm rest box) to start the engine.

    No, but except long drive.
