Do we still need GPS when we can use Smartphone?

i use my phone as my gps, pero preferred ko pa rin na magkanon ng stand alone gps navigator someday, istorbo kasi pag may bigla nagtext or tumawag hehe

That too. PLUS the fact that using functions like GPS NAV on your smartphone usually quickly drains the battery in a couple of hours.
