try using your phone as a gps on a road trip minimum 2 hours drive. ubos agad baterya nyan and iinit pa ang phone nyo kung sakali na may car charger kayo.

i've been using gps systems since 2001 and in my opinion, better pa rin ang dedicated gps.

it's nice to have an iphone or an android na jack of all trades pero the trade off is all of these functions (phone, camera, gps, internet browser, etc) only has one source of power. i dont want to be in a situation na i need to use the phone to call someone in an emergency pero lowbatt dahil sa nakababad sa gps. ok ang phone gps sa panandaliang gamit pero di advisable na nakababad ng ilang oras.

ang maganda lang ngayon is we have other options. ako i use garmin, then may built in gps yung auto ko (avt pero sobrang panget and hindi user-friendly), tapos i have my tablet pa with different apps (waze, google map, osmand, mmda app). i sometimes use them all just for fun, ang ingay sa loob ng sasakyan. lahat nagsasalita hehehe
