November 10th, 2007 11:48 PM #1Saan makakabili?
Legal gamitin for personal use?
:bwahaha:
Magiging carjack na lang resort nila.Last edited by suv; November 10th, 2007 at 11:51 PM.

November 11th, 2007 12:05 AM #3wouldn't you prefer them to just steal your car, by driving it away rather than taking it at gunpoint?
if they really want your car that bad, and you have heaps of security measures; as you have mentioned carjacking would be their last resort...
my friend life is more valueble than any asset.
that is why there are insurance companies if in case you didnt had your car insured at least you still got a lifetime to work for the money and buy a better car

I don't see any reason why it would be illegal to use a wheel clamp to prevent car theft. In other countries, binebenta yan sa consumers.
I'm contemplating looking at the general designs on some wheel clamps being sold overseas and pasadya na lang ako sa mga metalworks shop.

Hassle yun ah

Magtanong ka sa Greenhills I'm sure may maisasagot sila
Other than that you'll have to import them or buy them abroad and have it shipped. The cost depends on the level of security and the sturdiness of the design.

This device is also used to prevent trailer thefts also.
I've also seen such a device installed in a car that was street parked in Sampaloc (where midnight tow truck 'raids' are common). At least it's better than chaining the car to the Meralco post as one homeowner did.
