    Good day,

    I want to change our Terrano headlights from RHD to local LHD (I've already adjusted it to avoid glare and creating problems with other motorists) kasi I feel humihina na;

    -OK na ba yung Depo brand? I am told that these are Taiwan made, and glass din. So pag glass hindi naninilaw right? Kasi yung sa amin, almost 20 year old na yung headlights eh medyo malinaw pa rin naman. May iba pa bang brands available (aside sa OEM?) As I see it, pag plastic/clear ang lens mas malinaw nga but you need constant(?) maintenance and/or correct bulb wattage, which brings us to the next question...

    -If i upgrade ko to 90w bulbs eh proportional ba yung increase in wattage to the light output thrown? Pagka glass HLs ba eh ok lang since sa pattern ng lens nagva-vary, walang magme-melt or warp na plastic sa loob? Kasi sa nababasa ko pag upgraded ang bulbs on plastic leneses, naninilaw daw ang lens.

    -Yung mga wiring kit available from Blade or Ace is ok enough to match with the upgraded bulbs? Nababasa ko kasi na pag inupgrade mo yung bulbs mo, kelangan i upgrade din ang sockets and wires. True enough, nung nag change bulb ako nung last two months eh nag melt na nga yung bulb socket. Ang nakita ko sa blade sells for 500-something, hindi sya Narva, meron ako nakita dati kaso out-of-stock na daw.

    Edit: Lumina clear po yung windshield tint ko, ayoko kasi ng nakakasilaw by engaging high beam sa gabi para lang maka compensate sa tints. Pero experiment ko rin walang tint at a later time (but this problem I think is due to the fact na yung headlight assembly and wirings is almost 20 years old)

    Salamats at happy new year!

    The DEPO HL for this model is quite good. Go with that tapos 90/100w and get the upgraded wiring harness

    Apologies for the lateeee reply;

    Damn parang binigyan ng bagong buhay si 20+ yr old Terry ngayon Bought the Narva wiring harness, plus a pair of 100/90W Narva bulbs.

    Installed the kit DIY. Hindi ko pa kinakabit yung new bulbs, gamit ko currently is Bosch 65W na may blue coating. Ang bilis mag respond ng ilaw from low to high and vice versa. Ang ginawa ko pala is scrape to metal yung grounding points na kinakabitan nung kit.

    Kaso na loose thread yung battery clamps, so sabay ko na rin siguro upgrade yung grounding wires.

    Kung dati bumababa sa 12.8V pag naka on accessories (grabe ang voltage drop pag naka on headlights, more or less 1V), ngayon stay na at 13.7V kahit naka high ilaw.

    This is advisable para sa may mga old cars na mahina na ang headlights. Bago kayo mag HID (glare galore!), try these first. Sarap talaga ng feeling ng DIY (Destroy it Yourself)

    Now hanap ko na lang is LHD lamps, san kaya meron nito? preferred ko is bnew glass. Makati/Pasay area

    Salamats
