you can try this. I used to do this sa b12 ko. so far, it's still working for me.
dish soap + bucket of water, then 2pc. 1000 and 2 pc 2000 grit sandpaper.

just do horizontal swipes on the headlamps for like 5-10 mins on the 1000, then do the same for the 2000 for about 5 mins.. this should even out the cuts and scratches on the plastic.

after such, i used meguires plastic scratch remover. i forgot kung tama yung name, kasi it's been a while since i bought one. sa Ace yata or Concorde ko yun nabili. forgot na ren.. pero after the job, ayus!

no more haze, no more minor scratches.. actually pede ren to sa medio deep cuts, kaso, dapat meron na yata nung electronic buffer device involved..

madali lang cia, pero medio masakit sa braso ung pag-sa-sand..
remember, straight pattern lang, wag swirl...

    Hi.

To supplement badbadtz.carlo's reply, you could check out this guide (and disclaimer) in the Meguiars forum:

i just bought meguiars plastx. 3mins lang ganda na ulit ng HL. nagamitan ko kasi ng glass scratch remover kaya naging foggy grabe. i thought hindi na pwedeng mabalik sa dati. but with plastx, mas malinis pa ata sa bago haha.

too bad ang mahal at walang maliit ng bottle. i ended up buying the whole 296ml bottle hehe

    I'll just revive this thread...
is it safe for Gauge.. I just got my mit adventure.. I carefully wipe it using microfiber because it is dusty with finger marks.
pero nag ka scratch pa din.. I guess that's how sensitive. Can I use plastx to remove those scratches or better if mirror glaze plastic detailer lang since plastx has abrasive... thanks

plastix would be too aggressive sa instrument cluster. meron meguiars na plastic detailer (2nd step) , yun pwede. mga 700/bottle.

Microfiber detailing rags come in different grades. A high grade microfiber is between 15 to 30 U.S. dollars per rag (extremely soft and no lint). The more common ones are the low grade bulk quantity coming from china.

Questions mga tsikoters, ask lang sana ng suggestion kung ano yung mas value for money kung pano to ipa ayos sa labas? I dont have tools for diy and my only option is to have it repair sa labas... thanks po..

Yung black part is yung bumper na plastic na maitim, yung silver part is lip ng bumper na plastic din...

    1. if it's not very visible, leave it be. it won't rust, ever.
    2. do a little sanding, followed by canned paint (spray paint), then rubbing to make it a little more shiney. but if i have to guess, i think it will still be visible...
    3. if you are not pihikan, have the neighborhood pintor have a go at it. sanding + masilya + sanding + pigment + clear (siguro). it might not be a perfect match, but as you are not pihikan...
    4. if pihikan, bring it to the more expensive pintor.

...do you have comprehensive insurance? is your car new-ish yet? ...replace everything under insurance?

    Thanks guys!!!

If i have the neighborhood do it especially the black one, i have to request them to repaint all the balck in the front area to make it uniform color right? Yung silver naman na plastic, it’s like painting only a plastic bumper, baka pwede pa rubbing yun...

    vhb vinyl paint pwede dyan
pero kung ako, linisan maigi then heat gun or blow dry tapos hagod lang para pumantay. kung medyo eggshell or rough surface, try to use a similar textured cloth to hagod your bumper.

not a good idea din to paint black matte bumpers, pangit kalalabasan nyan at mag mukhang jordan 11 yung auto mo [emoji28][emoji28][emoji1787][emoji1787]
