question po. regarding sa headlight, any advice if ever pa-relay ng car. rather
than change bulb. ok ba ito relay? advantage and disadvantage po. thanks

true? based sa experience nyo?
yeah, i heard from an installer about that effect. not sure if it's just sales talk tho. but anyhow, i would think it would help the system a bit, if just to maintain a consistent flow of electricity. a little help but nothing major.
ok, what about the battery life span? O.T. hindi kaya maubos battery sa dami na electricity load?
i doubt it. negligible lang ang kain niya sa battery mo. and besides, you dont have to worry about anything as long as your electrical system is in good condition. the battery is charged when the car is on via alternator.
I had my wires changed and installed with relays. I upgraded the bulbs that I used from stock to 80W/100W. Of course, the sockets were changed to ceramics. Lakas ng ilaw. Great for heavy downpour.
80/100W and above, adv are definitely much brighter throw
but add'l cost (wires, relay, sockets and labor) while sa stock
wattage of 55/60W i suggest you invest to either osram silverstar
(whiter than stock but not as super whites) with 50% light throw
or philips vision plus. mas mahal lang ng konti compared to reg halogens.
On an EK Civic, reviewing the wiring diagram and all the wires and relays, and it looks like even a bulb rated at 120W is still within electrically permissible. But the added heat compared to using 55\60W bulbs could damage the lenses though, especially for long night drives.
Just the same though, I would still recommend upgrading the wiring with relays, whenever upgrading the bulbs. If your using the stock wattage bulbs then including relays into the circuitry will only result to protecting the lower current circuit at the switch side from the high-current circuit at the bulb-battery end, assuming the current wirings are in good shape... as opposed to concluding it will add more brightness.
Share ko lang po.
OT: Anybody here have experienced upgrading wiring and relays on EK's? Saan pong shop okay magpagawa nito? (di ko po kabisado i-DYI eh).![]()
