its an x-trail. bought the leds at www.superlumination.com . used e-2-door to buy the items. price more than doubled w/ e-2-door but this is door-to-door na. you can pay w/ your local credit card. siguro if la blue lens stronger yung light.
gusto ko lang mag-experiment w/ leds sa car. am still not contented w/ the current leds i have. what i want sana ay talagang white na light. am waiting for the 6 led bulb i just ordered to arrive. i have a 4-led & festoon (green) bulb arriving maybe next week. post ko pics when here na.

how much is the damage are we talking about here? plus shipping pa yun right? baka sobrang mahal naman.
that kind of led i usually see sa mga x-trails nga..yung bluish na parklight..
medyo mahal nga. 2 pcs. will cost 1700 pero mahal sa superlumination. yun lang i think this is brighter than superbrightleds.com. kaya bluish parklight kasi blue ang lens cover. maybe with a higher led mcd output baka white na.
eto pa:
if you want to get technical, you measure leds by candelas or millicandelas. convert it to lumens ang lakas ng leds. but the difference is that candelas are measured at the source while lumens at an object you want to illuminate. light projected out of leds dont travel far. you need collimator or concentrator. ang magandang led sana ay yung luxeon leds made by lumileds just like the 1 used by surefire flashlights. the problem there is they cant fit a 194/168 or peanut bulb. saw 1 experimenter who did for car, DIY. ok pero matrabaho dahil pati circuit siya gumawa.
saw on ebay, piaa is selling what they say as their brightest led is called super tera (nabili na yata sa ebay). maganda lang ang led kasi malamig light nila & konti lang ang draw ng power + long bulg life.
Yan nga ang advantages ng LEDs, minimal power, longer bulb life & much much brighter than conventional bulbs.
Sinubukan ko na dati yung blue/white combo, mas mahina ang light length. On-coming traffic won't be able to notice until 500m. Di tulad ng white, past 1km ang light intensity.
