But cutting up your existing headlights, nut and bolt method maybe a big deal breaker for some. Been there and done that although entry level E46 projectors lang gamit ko dati.
Yes those are the big dogs but the plug and play ones right now are pretty much up there na rin sans the big modification.

agree, can't deny that technology is always evolving. Also manufacturers are finding ways to make their product accessible to everyone kaya they consider din yung ease of install.

walang ma vovoid sa electricals mo pag walang cutting, soldering, splicing or modification na ginawa sa electrical wires. Can't say the same sa HL assembly since bubuksan yan. Usually yung stock harness pa rin ang gagamitin ng retrofitter. Yung DIY ko nga pati ballast ko nilagay ko sa loob ng HL assembly for a clean look. But I'm planning to transfer it sa labas para madaling palitan if incase may problema ang ballast.

Sa mga ibang headlight assembly may provision ng ballast sa ilalim. Sa akin meron pero di nila doon kinabit kasi exposed sa ilalim.
Tama sila walang void sa electrical kung plug and play lang. But you cant claim warranty sa headlight assembly if it moists.
Where in throttle body is the adjustment the bizscew or on fix SAS
high idle RPM at engine start
