Nag-on yung oil warning light sa panel gauge ko recently then nung pinalinis ko yung sensor sa may oil filter nawala for a week then today umilaw nanaman. I was thinking na oil sensor lang yung may prob kasi nga nung pinalinis ko nawala.
...But then theres the possibility na oil pump pero my car is a 2003 model mukhang hindi naman dapat right? I think kung oil pump dapat by now tinitik na ako right?
Pakurap kurap yung ilaw...
BTW do you guys know of a good brand of oil sensor?

Oil level is at max. I replaced the oil sensor with an 80 pesos replacement part. So far so good...hindi na umilaw ulit (except during initial tuning on of key to check if everything is okay). So this means sensor na nga siguro ang may problema.
I intend to replace the sensor nalang with original toyota sensor. Any idea how much this costs? Kung may kamahalan, ano ba ang magandang brand ng sensor? Im not that comfortable with my el cheapo sensor installed..hehe

oem temp sending unit was 1,700 six months ago.
oem radiator fan sensor was 4,300. a japan replacement cost only 750.
the above should more or less give you an idea.
