Tsk bumalik nanaman problema ko. Umilaw nanaman kahapon. Tingin ko may gunk na bumabara dun sa may sensor eh. Inside engine should be clean. Kasi minsan meron, minsan naman wala. Ganda naman ng takbo ng sasakyan, and ang tipid pa sa FC.

If its oil pump...dapat by now tirik nako? And nagfiflicker din ba yung light pag pump or steady lang?

If its the oil pump, wala pang 30 mins. overheat ka na. Baka nga sensor lang.

sir, just replace your Oil Sending Unit with a brand new one from the Dealer (or anything OEM equivalent). and also, kung sira ang Oil Pump usually kakatok ang makina mo due to low oil pressure. but in your case, your Oil Pump should be OK. problema lang talaga ang sensor.. or even the wiring connector/plug that connects with it too.

    aite, peace.

Got it. sige will try to get oem first. Was worried baka full of gunk yung engine ko. Pero pacheck ko na rin kay speedyfix.

mukhang di pa tapos ang process of elimination mo dyan sa warning light mo pare. replacing the sensor with an oem one is the first step. hope maayos na yang auto mo.

madami nga gunk yung engine... time to clean it out...

this is the 3rd altis in 2 months that we've had to clean out... something may be wrong with it since lots of them seem to be developing gunk.

Speedyfix: Checked out other altis, engine is clean and no gunk formation found. I think it all boils down to following proper PMS.

Anyway, still convincing my dad to have it cleaned in your shop. Medyo hesitant yata kung hindi sa toyota ipapagawa (my dad's one of those casa believers). Maybe the cost of toyota will make him change his mind. Kagabi lang nagtatanung na about your shop. Ipaalala ko sa kanya ulit to have it scheduled.

    Balitaan kita. Tnx.
