Yup, that's a boo on Toyota's part. As we know, pag H4 HID sobrang sabog talaga ang ilaw.

Just pointing it out so other people who read this would know.

I own a 2009 City and IMO, hindi mahina ang bato ng headlights nito. Iyong tint ang problema mo bro,- I suggest you remove it or switch to something that's much clearer like a 40 or 50 rating... Kesa ma-aksidente or maka-aksidente ka pa....

gt500m, Go for HID but be responsible na di sarili mo uunahin mo. Aim it properly (more lower and slightly to the right pa) kung di mo type galawin ang stock aim niya, either palit ka ng neutral front tint or alisin mo na

Osram Nightbreaker and the like could help but for medium black tint? dapat talaga diyan kaya ng mata mo.

If you feel it's hard to see when it's raining, how abut when you are driving at night?

It's not the headlights. It's the tint you installed on the windshield.

May ibang kotse talaga kahit reflector type headlights, minimal ang glare or halos parang halogen lang. Same with fog lamps, some really cause glare kahit mababa yun iba naman almost zero glare.

Mas nakakainis pa nga yun mga naka Halogen nga lang pero parati naman naka high beam, kahit ilawan mo or sensyasan hindi pa din nagcchange to low. Or sobrang wala sa alignment nakatutok sa taas.

+1 on Osram Nightbreaker. Try mo muna to, baka makatulong sa vision mo. Mura lng naman yun.
Yun tint, pinakamahal ata nabili mo. Hehe! So I feel ur pain.

Mamili ka na lang sa Philips X-treme Power or Osram Night Breaker (Philips XP is said to be slightly better because it's yellower), pero you can't go wrong with either.

Medyo mahirap nga lang maghanap ng Philips XP ngayon, and mas mahal siya (1,400 to 1,500). Limited availability sa Perfect Circle Banawe and C3 Accessories (C34x4.com).

Average price is 1,100 (ie. Maspro) kasama na installation. I just bought a pair of H4 Night Breakers for my '09 Everest yesterday for 1,000 (Warren Automotive, Benavidez St. cor Recto). Ako na sariling nagkabit, mabilis lang naman. Huge improvement over the stock Osram bulbs.

You can also install all-weather/all-season bulbs sa foglights mo. If you have the budget, try mo yung Polarg Pure Yellow (2,000+). The yellow light will help cut through rain and fog.

    Hope this helps!
