January 21st, 2010 04:17 PM #7what do you mean sockets sir? yung socket ng relay or yung socket ng headlight na mismo, will do both na rin later.
just in case tama lahat yung connections pwede kaya ito,
found this on the net, since negative yung nilalabas nung stock headlight, pwede ko kaya gawin yan. bale ang nakakabit sa 85 is yung stock high beam (-) tapos yung 87 papunta don sa trigger (86) ng relay nung low beam so kapag naghigh ako eh magiging positive yung input sa low relay kaya hindi na ito iilaw. yun nga lang ang naisip ko with this diagram eh baka naman hindi umilaw yung low kasi hindi energized yung relay kapag nakalow lang yung headlight switch.
still a newbie when it comes to DIYing relays and it electronic in particular, i really apreciate your help.

kasi usually pag nag uprage ka ng relays, pati wiring upgrade ka. so may bago kang headlight sockets. baka dun nagka palit yung mga wires kaya steady ang low beam mo.
sir the relay in your diagram is different from the relay we use. it has one 87 terminal and one 87A terminal... when the trigger 85 is "off" yung 87A is "on" and 87 is "off"
kung regular bosch relay from local auto supplies, with two 87 terminals. which are both off when 85 is off. the diagram above will work too.
to make things easier for you. meron sa banawe ready made wiring upgrade kit for H4 headlights. hanapain mo yung brand ng NARVA, eto yung makapal yung wires. yung sub-zero sobrang nipis ng wires

January 27th, 2010 04:15 PM #10problem solved!
stumbled upon sa net a a 2 relay diagram for negatively switched headlights. i used 2 30amp bosch relay, gauge 12 and gaug14 wires, 2 1N5404 diodes and 1 10 ohms 5 watt resistor. everything's working normal now including the high beam indicator in the dash board, syempre all DIY.
thanks guys
