The original bulbs installed are halogen bulbs and the projectors were designed for these bulbs. The cutoff is very visible pag halogen bulbs ang nakaka kabit and madali adjust yan. Pag nagkabit ka ng hid bulbs, magkakaroon ng glare above the cutoff kahit projectors yan, meron light scatter above kasi 3x more light being produced by the hid bulb so tricky ng konting yung adjustment pero pwede naman. Ginagawa dyan ng iba to compensate for this, binababa yung adjustment so meron disadvantage coz yung throw mag su-suffer naman. Kailangan alam nung nag a adjust yung theory kasi pag ginamit yung machine magkakaroon ng konting fault kasi meron light scatter. Going back to your question, autotecnika I heard nag aadjust. I cannot vouch for them kasi I've never tried them pero meron akong kilala who availed of their services. FYI, yung picture sa baba, hid projector yan with hid bulbs so very clear ang cutoff.

questions
1.) pag set mo pa baba ung projector, sasama bang bababa ung high beam?
Please help. thanks!

September 30th, 2011 07:49 PM #15kwo: that bulb cover is designed to limit the output of the halogen bulb so that it will not go to places sa reflector bowl that can coz glare to other motorists. there is a reason kaya nandun yun. kaya sobrang tumaas output of the halogen bulb is now being reflected all over sa reflector bowl. sa questions mo;
It is not designed to be adjusted everytime, plastic lang yun.
Hanapin mo yung tinanggal sa headlight mo. Ibalik mo and solve problems mo

Buhayin ko lang 'tong thread na 'to. Any alignment centers near the east side of Manila? (Pasig, Marikina, Antipolo, Katipunan etc). I've tried DIY'ng my alignment but to no avail. And how much would this service usually cost? Thanks!

Pina ka luma na alignment menthod is at 25ft the cut off of your headlights shouldn't be higher than a normal sedan's side mirror. Tested and proven na yan even the internationally known retrofitters like trs or lightwerkz ay ganito parin ang advise sa mga diy'ers na walang special equipments or walang basehan since dapat bago ginalaw ang headlight mo dapat minarkahan muna sa isang wall Ang stock cut off while yung car ay naka park on even surface.

June 7th, 2019 04:35 AM #20many headlights can be aligned, DIY. it's not difficult.
the special instrument required is usually a long phillips screwdriver. lookit your car, po, and see how long it should be and how fat the shaft mustn't be.
the most difficult part, is to find a suitable area... flat, preferably concrete surface, and a wall some meters away. google the aiming recommendations, po. i usually do my alignments in the workplace parking bldg, at night, when everyone has gone home. ilang beses nakong napag-kamalang may sira kotse...
but if you prefer others to do the aiming, i am sure they will be happy to be of service. your retrofitters should do it as part of the service.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
