4300k? stock lang yun eh... 8000k gamitin mo... kaya lang ako ng 6500k kasi yun kulay masmaganda for me... white na white talaga...
Yup its stock but HID has twice the lumens of halogens hence greater visibility...
Ok din yung 6500K, pero according to what I read, 4300K (stock) is your best bet for better visibility sans the porma factor. 8000K and up is for astetics.
BTW you can read theveed's thread regarding HID.
best pa rin ang 4300k. OEM HIDs of bimmmers, mercs, etc use that kelvin rating.
8000K pogi nga but when it rains hard, your expensive HID kit is useless. mas may silbi pa ang stock H4 bulbs pag umulan haha
ok.. so either 4300K or 6500K na lang.. ok po ba ang visibility ng 6500K pag umuulan?
sorry ang daming questions.. i just wanna make sure na tama yung kukunin ko.. :D
Originally Posted by Rav_5

HIDs are pretty much useless unless you have those projector-type headlamps... you will only blind incoming vehicles
Check theveed's Great HID write-up thread.
nice link miko...
eto yung main point:
basically, yung HID optics ay yung housing mismo... using your standard headlamp assembly with an HID bulb & ballast only is pretty much useless.HID kits commercially available online, at performance shops, and accessory shops include two of the three essential components in HID systems: (1) the HID bulb, and (2) the HID ballast. The missing factor here is (3) the HID optics. The HID optics are the main components that make up a projector/reflector assembly (reflector bowl, lens, shield, D2 base, etc).
ah.. ok.. just read theveed's thread.. salamat po talaga sa mga replies..
so, my question for now is: where can i buy projector headlights for 2003 CRV?
may idea po ba kayo kung magkano yung projector headlights for CR-V?
haven't seen one for the cr-v yet...
for the rav4... may customized projector headlamps ang ginawa ang starbright ata... costs around 25K++
i get mixed reactions from HID users. some say mas maganda buga ng ilaw with projector type headlights, some say naman na mas maganda buga ng OEM assembly....
matanong lng po.. nka bili me ng new headligths gaya ng BMW headlights sa toyota po.. angel eyes po.. Projector type po ba iyun?
....kung gusto nila na medyo scandaloso at sumisigaw ang buga ng "HID to'!". hehehe...Originally Posted by ssaloon
