for cars with plastic lenses, safe na ba yung 90/100w bulb na upgrade? masisira pa kaya ang lense nito?

the plastic lenses were designed by the engineers to handle the heat generated by stock bulbs (60W). you can put any bulb wattage, but it will deteriorate at a faster rate with higher than stock wattage bulbs. if the lenses were designed to last for 10 yrs with stock bulbs, it might only last 8 yrs for 80W bulbs, 5yrs for 100W bulbs, etc.

i just upgrade my H4 bulb from philips vision plus 55/65 to Osram 80/100 just last week on my revo..

halos 2 years ko din gamit ko yung visionplus 55/65 and walang nagfla-flash sa akin kahit sedan type....

pero ngayon meron ng mga ilang sedan type na nagfla-flash using the higher wattage bulbs.. siguro dahil sa additional glare na rin.. i have to adjust my headlight aim this weekend..

You could use higher wattage (candle power) light, but you have to aim it properly. I use them on all my vehicle including my son's car and so far its been good, nobody flash me yet at ang liwanag ng kalye kapag gabi.

they go back when you flick the wires behind the bulb.

anyway, had them changed this morning, but, now patay naman ung park light on that same side.

higher wattage bulbs could burn your socket pala, nakita ko na natunaw na ung socket, sabi nga ng cousin ko kanina "buti nalang hindi pa natuluyan". so he changed them to a lower wattage whiteys.
my only problem now is the parklight.

Try upgrading your headlight harness by adding relays, thicker wires and ceramic sockets (won't melt). It's a good weekend DIY project. Buy lots of fuses though hehe. Relays go for 100 each. Ceramic sockets are around 150 each.

Got my ceramic H4 sockets from Nihhon Banawe. Don't know if they have HB4 sockets though.
