Hello po, sorry in advance di ko alam kung po dapat ipost ito. just curious ano ung purpose ng lights na nakikita ko sa likod ng rearview mirrors on some cars? security po ba ito or something else? thanks!!

They're called 'scanners'. Yep, their original purpose is to announce the presence of a vehicle security system and deter theives before they 'choose' your car.
The idea is they see the lights from far away, know that there's a security system on board, and they'll just think of picking on a less secure car. It's not foolproof but its a deterrent.
