Nagkaroon ng dent yung plastic bumper pero all other parts (light, parking sensor, rear door, etc) are working.

I drive an old car kaya metal ang front hood ko, minimal scratches lang nakuha ko. No comprehensive insurance ako. Siya ang meron.

Quote ng talyer is 4500-8500 only. Which is di ko talaga kaya.

Paano ba ang best way?

Santa Rosa, Laguna area kami. Pls help me. Thanks!

Is the owner willing to use his insurance?

Which is kung ako din naman, I'd rather use mine kesa humaba pa usapan naten dahil ayoko din naman ipagawa sa talyer na gusto mo.

To add sa casa replacement nga yan.

    Bayad lang participation.

Try to ask if willing sila na ipasok na lang sa insurance nila, pay the participation na lang and add to cover the hassle on their part.

"off course not!!! brand-new-quality ang TB namin!"

errr... how old is the TB? malaki ba po ang tama? is it fix-able? will it impair safety issues if repaired only cosmetically?

i guess that settles the issue of where it should be repaired.
they should have insurance. are they asking you to pay for the entire operation? offer to pay for the participation fee.

Opo eh, they want me to pay the entire 58k kasi di naman daw sila ang at fault so bakit insurance nila.

Trying to attach a pic kaso ayaw eh

As suggested, you offer first to pay for the participation not the whole repair. But the Trail owner has to inform his insurance its a own damage, otherwise the insurance will still go after you for the entire cost of the repair. If he doesn't agree, insist that you will pay for the entire cost if the repair is to be done at the talyer of your choice. Tell them thats only what you can afford. But before that, just make sure that the outside repair is significantly lower than the 58k they are asking, at least 50% cheaper.

basta maayos kang makiusap ay pagbibigyan ka ng TBZ owner na i-claim nya as own damage (of course yung participation at konting cost ng abala ay huwag kalimutan).
not sure though if this is still the case if TBZ owner has already reported this incident to the insurance provider.

Will talk to the owner. I am hoping she agrees and that the insurance is okay with it since Friday lang ito nangyari.

Ano na ba proseso ginawa niyo? May police report na ba? Or affidavit?

    Ano detalye sa report?

If ikaw at fault and stated sa report kahit ipasok sa insurance yan participation lang payables ni TBZ owner pero ikaw hahabulin ni insurance for the rest of the expenses.

Sadly the owner will call the shots.

Talk to the owner, hopefully they would consider na claim as own damage na lang. pay the participation and again like what I said, dagdagan mo na lang para dun sa abala na ginawa mo.

    Goodluck.

No police report kami kasi we all wanted amicable settlement. Meron lang kami from the guards stating na ako naman talaga ang at-fault.

For now, nakapagpa-estimate pa lang siya sa Chevrolet CASA. Sinend niya sa aking yung quote which is 58k nga lahat. She is demanding 50% na so that the CASA can order the parts already daw.

no police report? that's one of the first things the insurance guys will look for.
are they newbies in insurance claiming? i see no logic in not using their insurance now, because that is precisely what it is for.
unless, there is something in their insurance contract that....

    Hmmm, guards? Neighbor mo sya?

IMO, if the Chevy uses her own insurance... Pwede din kaso mahabang paki usapan yun. Let's not forget, binangga mo new car nya so di lang sya galit syo... Pati friends and family nya.

Kung may kilala kang lawyer, I suggest na kausapin mo sya to see kung anong options mo...
