My car was hit by a van, How to deal with "arreglo"

My car was hit by a van in the parking lot. The owner is open to make "arreglo". How to deal with it? Should I insist to have my car fix in the casa or can I just go to any other auto detailing shop? Should he be present while fixing my car or can I just show him the receipt?

hingi ka ng 3500 or equivalent sa insurance participation mo whichever is higher. get a written agreement na that would cover the damage to your car.

pwede ka rin pa quote sa talyer mo on how much it will cost to repair tapos bigay mo yung quote sa nakabangga and ask for money.

kung insurance, file mo as own damage after getting the payment from the other party.

painting per panel costs 2500 - 4000 average sa talyer.

kunin mo na ang pera on the spot, pwede din na meron kang isang kaibigan na pwede mo tawagan na kunwari sha ang gagawa ng repair, tatawagan mo sha para kunwari ask mo kung magkano cost of repair, pag nakiusap ung nakasagi sayo na mataas ung amount na hinihingi mo, sabihan na silang 2 ang mag usap kung meron sha pag dududa sayo.

Mga sirs, neighbor ko lang yung nakagasgas. San ba OK magpagawa ng gasgas? Anong specific shop ang pwede nyo ma-recommend sana in Manila and Makati area lang.

di po ba tataas ang premium ng insurance mo the next year?

If thats the case, hindi ko na gamitin ang insurance for that.

I agree. Humingi ka na lang ng at least katumbas ng participation sa insurance. IMO, pwede mo dagdagan dahil sa abala. Say Php5,000. Sabihin mo mahal ang oras mo kaya may bayad abala. Wag mo na singilin ng moral damages hehehe

well IMO, minor lang yung gasgas unless may dent na hndi ko makita.

ako din, i can see minor scratch lang which can be easily fixed by a p50 rubbing compound or scratch remover + P50 wax...
