I read the term "property damage coverage", which means damage you caused against another vehicle, halimbawa nakabangga ka. Is this normally part of the usual comprehensive insurance? Let's say DirectLink or Malayan or the other big names in auto insurance, is it already included?
What's the process in claiming for this? I understand na walang participation fee ito, tama po ba? Ano mga usual documents needed, same as the "own damage claim"? Another question is, does this take into consideration how old yung vehicle na involved sa claim, and depreciation value ng parts na ipapalit? Sa "own damage claim" kasi may percentage na i-shoulder yata pag mag-claim depending on how old is the vehicle, in addition to the participation fee.
yes, its included on a standard compre policy. and yes, no participation fee. pero may limits yung coverage amount depende sa policy mo. example, if the damage is 200k, and your property insurance coverage is 100k, they will only pay 100k.
for the claiming, i remember that the things you would need are police reports and claim application forms.
it does not take into consideration the age of the vehicle for it considers the limits of the insurance as i've said above. sa parts damage sa oto mo, meron depreciation factors.
