i contacted the insurance hinayaan muna na andun yung oto, nung naglabas ng quotation ang casa bigla nilang pina-pull out.

The worst part i paid storage fee, since hindi dun ginawa kotse ko. Awa ng diyos na declare as total loss. Sulit ang insurance hehe

Re. the depreciation of parts, you can opt for surplus so you don't have to shoulder the depreciation on a brand new part. At least, that was the case on the bumper of my 9th gen Altis a few years ago.

We keep all cars insured until they're sold. Only exception is our Sentra B13 (nakaligtaan) and i wish it were insured up to now.

That is so true. I cannot not have insurance for a car less than 5 yrs old. Pero I don't bother so much with other insurance, minsan nga nalilimutan ko home insurance Yung life insurance ko isa lang at parang ayoko ng dagdagan pa.

In the same line of thought, our cars go to the service shop for PMS more often then i would go to a doctor for a check-up. :D

Ako nga wala ako life insurance hehe.

OT: Don't you need at least one life insurance? It gets more expensive as you get older kasi.
