Hit and Run - Motorcycle

This is a COMMON KAMOtTE MOVE.

I was crossing the road so the cars stopped already. Out of nowhere a motorcycle comes flying and hits my bumper. The bumper and hood are scratched. I kept asking for his license but he was stalling until other kamotes came to his rescue telling me bawal to take a photo of the license which I know was FALSE. I was overwhelmed because pinagtutulungan ako ng mga kamote. Traffic was building up already so nung tinabi ko yung car ko biglang nawala motor!!! The photo I took of the motor was blurred.

Anyway, my car is a 2014 Altis with FLAWLESS PAINT! I don't know if I should claim sa casa. My insurance is in house in Toyota Pasig and I have to go there pa to file. I know wala depreciation sa repaint pero baka sabihin replace bumper e gasgas lang naman. The plastic where the emblem is damaged also!

Should I have it pagawa na lang sa tabi tabi na talyer?

I am crying kasi always na lang SORRY SORRY SORRY. Wala daw siya pera. Why does he assume pag may kotse may pera?

It has already happened, so it's not worth dwelling on too much because it will only add to your stress level.
There's a reason why you're paying for comprehensive insurance.
I know the hassle because I've been through it when my previous Fort was rear-ended by a trike. The 'kamot ulo' gesture and walang pambayad line was really classic.
It's better to let the CASA handle the repair and repainting.

let your insurance take care of it.
sayang naman that we pay good money for it, yet do not avail of it.

My other worry if I claim baka hindi na ko ma insure next year since my car is 10 na

If OD Claim, madali lang ma process.
If may kilala na pulido gawa sa labas, better if sa labas nalang.
Most CASA paint job is outsourced outside.
Hindi na kasing tibay ng stock paint, madali ng magasgas.
Unless if may kilala kang paintshop na pulido ang gawa which I suggest dun mo nalang pagawa.

Also for your peace of mind, pwd mo ata ipa blotter and request CCTV footage.
At least once makuha ng CCTV yung plate ng motor, may tag na motor at owner ng motor sa LTO.
So that when the renewal time comes, may penalty siyang babayaran due to violation.

Let go ko na, ayoko na ma hassle for blotter and CCTV. Isa din ako sa rason kung bakit malakas loob ng mga kamote kasi sorry lang sila.

If reported as hit and run, hanapan ka talaga ng insurance ng blotter report.
Pero yan lang naman requirement ng insurance.
Report will just take 30 mins - an hour depende sa officer na mag aasikaso sa yo.
Hindi naman always may pila sa precinto.
Since need mo naman blotter report, request mo na din CCTV para ma report ng maayos nakabangga sayo.
So that at least you can hit back dun bumangga sayo by flagging their motorcycle or license.
Malas lang if walang CCTV sa area nun, you have to let go talaga.

Other way is pakiusapan mo agent mo to report as OD.
Para hindi na hassle mag report sa presinto.
Most agent will understand lalo na if hindi frequent ang claim mo sa insurance.
Nasa report form yan on how you describe the situation to make it look as Own Damage incident.

For the price sa labas, most shops na pulido gawa will charge 3k-4k for the single panel paint.
Yung sa mga 1,500 per panel, huwag kang pumatol dyan.
Hindi pulido gawa ng mga shop na yan.
For the hood, medyo pricey and it comes at estimated price of 4k-6k more or less.
Hintay tayo sa mga ka tsikot natin if may alam silang pulido shop sa area mo.

Basta most CASA pagdating sa paint job, i outsourced talaga nila yan sa labas.
So same pa rin na iiwan car mo dun sa outsourced shop.

Same tayo experience hit and run motor side collision at driver side, mas malaki nga lang damage sa akin.
Sa two doors left side, gasgas plastic cludding.
The plate number is not clear sa dashcam dahil medyo blurred at conduction plate gamit.
When I reported to police station, wala daw CCTV sa lugar na yun.

So ni report ko nalang sa insurance ko as OD.
Pero here comes the good part sa insurance ko.
Sinubmit ko lang yung OD claim before my insurance expired.
Mga 9 months after the incident.
Hinintay ko kasi baka may mas marami pang ma encounter na gasgas.

Inaccept pa rin ng insurance OD claim ko.
I think they did so that I will still renew with them.
I requested CASA to replace the plastic cludding.
Then repaint the door.

Not sure if other insurance company will honor the same sa ginawa ko.
