Let me get it straight you bought the car from the insurance company in which you insured the car and the company is fake/non-existent/unlicensed with the SEC. The guy gave you a OR/CR and it is in the name of the previous owner not the company, the deed of sale used a fake name and address, and when you went to the insurance company again they were gone. That's everything you posted right?
You still think the car is not stolen? Hmm sounds fishy to me and it's probably stolen if you put everything together. The insurance company can't sell that car unless they have the endorsed ownership papers from the previous owner and based on your post it appears that all you have is the CR under the previous owner not the insurance company you bought the car from. The fact that the deed of sale is premised on fake identity of the seller can make it invalid. You could possibly be in possession of a stolen car and be charged with receiving stolen property or whatever law they use in the Philippines. I think meron sabit yan kotse mo, kung wala bakit kailagan niyang gumamit ng fictitious details...

February 10th, 2009 10:38 AM #24yah already check the unit, ok naman yung papel, yung car owner is a abs cbn talent, " celebrity"..pero yung car matagal na nya binenta trhu agent , so di na nya alam kung sino yung bumili sa kanya dati...pero wala problema sa tmg at lto..
yung nagbenta naman sa akin is not the insurance company, yung agent lang nung insurance...
