Buying a car. Sales person calculates na car loan based on in-house loan and bank loan...

Pero nung old days, naalala ko na we can go to our (bank) branch, they give us a calculation and they can coordinate pick-up of the unit from the closest dealership... Available pa ba itong option na ito?

Nung old days kasi, naaalala ko na mas mababa yung interest if you go to the bank directly.
you don't go to the dealer. you go to the bank since you are decided on the car model and trim anyway.

They can be the ones to get the quote from the dealer for you and provide their rate.

In house of dealer always higher plus their DI.

When direct to bank no "freebies" or very little in the way of add-on to give you for free. But what you save over the course of the car loan is worth more than any of them combined and much more.

Thanks... good to hear na same as how I remembered it "before"

I think you should be able to get the "usual" freebies, pero the window visor will be difficult...

My question is, is this the usual insurance and participation fee for brand new cars? I'm planning on getting the Altis 1.6V btw.

Any reviews with Charter Ping An?

    Thank you.
the participation fee kung ok ba o hindi depends on the type of car na bibilhin mo. For a sedan, parang mahal yan.

Participation is usually 0.5% of insured amount. So 4-5k is normal for a 1M car.

Some insurance companies offer 0.25% participation but that's the exception and not the norm.

You change insurance before the 2nd year? Any feedback backs about that insurance?

if you paid for the car, cold cash, you are not required to get comprehensive insurance of any sort, po. only the TPL, as required by law, is necessary.

Congrats sa new ride.

Hintay pa ko ng reply from Metrobank at BDO.

Punta ka sa bank ask for loan officer, pa quote mo ang price and % interest then pwede mo yan i compare s ibat ibang banko, kung san mas maganda offer dun ka mag loan. bibigyan ka nila ng list of requirements for autoloan sir.
