Kelangan ba talaga sir na covered yung Acts of God? Or depende yun sa terms ng approval ng auto/car loan? (In this case Metrobank)

And based dun sa quote ko, ano lang ideal or yung reasonable na premium?

    Thanks!

Yes, at this point your bank will require that additional coverage every year hanggang matapos yung loan term mo, regardless kung sino insurance provider kunin mo.

Look for a premium na at the most is just 2% nung fair market value ng oto.
While at it negotiate for a deductible of 2k nalang din para di gano masakit sa bulsa magclaim in the future if needed, ang default kasi nito is 0.5% naman ng value ng oto.

Nabangga yung car ko ng SUV while nakaparada sa basement parking. Umamin naman na may kasalan yung nakabangga and sa insurance nalang daw. Yung insurance ko ba gagamitin or dapat yung insurance niya?

you will report to your insurance that such and such happened.
it is up to your insurance to run after their insurance, if they are so inclined, po..
the important thing for you, is that your insurance pay for your repair, as per contract.

and there is no mention at all anywhere, on who should shoulder the participation fee. nasa usapan na po ninyo yan.

    good luck, po.

Depende sa Insurance company talaga. For my insurance I can get the LOA in 15 minutes probably, if I go to their office for claims binay ko lang yun requirements and I'll get LOA immediately then diretso na ako caso and they'll just call their contact person doon

I have a question on claiming po. Nabangga yung car namin ng motor hindi naman kami tinakbuhan, pumunta kami sa station ng traffic bureau to get a police report and settle things up. Ang problem is yung naka-motor ay yun usual na alibis na kesyo walang pera kuno pero we agreed and we put it in writing nalang na bayaran nya participation kahit hulugan para matapos na usapan. We have the police report stating na fault ng motor. Paano po ang claiming sa insurance nito need ko ba pakita yung police report or should we just treat this as own damage nalang? BTW GSIS insurance ko so probably I'll have a hard time in claiming so plan nalang namin is report namin muna sa kanila then pagawa namin tapos reimbursement nalang. Thanks sa makakasagot po.

just report it to your insurance provider, as it happened. include the police report.
it's up to them, what to do with the other party.
but my guess is, unless the other party has compre insurance, you will be the one to come up with the participation fee.

Thanks Doc for the quick feedback. Problem is walang compre insurance yung motor po eh. I guess I'll have to foot the bill na muna for the participation then and cross my fingers that he remains true with his words na babayaran nya kami kahit through installments. Another question Sir di naman kaya magkaroon ng technicality na walang mahahabol ang insurance namin dun sa nakabangga sa amin po if I report it as is?

If you report this to your insurance as an accident, the insurance will go after the motor driver, and whatever compromise you and the motor driver had signed, will be null and void. You will end up paying for the participation fee, the insurance will bill the entire cost of repair plus interest to the motor driver. If you want your agreement with the motor driver to hold, report this an own-damaged. If you have the money to pay for participation and dont want the trouble chasing the motor driver every month for the installment, then report it as an accident. Believe me, if the other party has no insurance, expect your participation to be higher.

Report muna sa GSIS para ma-iguide kayo on the procedures. And malamang mga 3 mos yan ska ma release ang LOA kaya request na lang for reimbursement para maayos na damage.

Hinde naman kasi dapat Pinapasagot participation fee sa nakabangga. That's accident and report it to your insurance as such. Then have your vehicle repair. Move on then wala na problema.

^^Thanks for the advice po mga Sirs. I think, I might as well report this as own damage para less na hassle sa claiming then. If I report this as an accident wala ding ipambabayad yung driver ng motor sa insurance at lalong mahihirapan yun sa tingin ko humanitarian reason nalang kumbaga. Again thanks po.

More often than not. Hinde ba hinahabol ng Insurance mga ganyan. Kahit taxi pa nakabannga. Sinabi lang ng operator na pinaalis na driver. Ganun lang write off na ng Insurance company.
