I have read a thread somewhere regarding experiences on brand new cars na aksidente agad. Depreciated na ba agad ito ng 20% pag ganyan?

I guess he/she meant... If you are insured, then you must be (entitled to a replacement). Contact your insurance company and file a claim. If your car is fully (totally-wrecked), then your company will replace it with a new car, as per your insurance coverage.

They will only give you what is covered, minus participation. Probably around 75-80% the worth of a new car only.

Sana mababa lang yung depreciation kasi first 5k yung participation sana makuha namin yung total amount nung fiesta less 5k nalang. ganun kasi pagkakaintindi namin

Ang babayad sa yo fair market value, which is less than your purchase price usually. Kung nabangga siya na 1 week or 1 month old siguro may laban ka for straight replacement.

Ang siste diyan they will lowball you on the first offer. Decline it and be ready with a fair market value price that you are comfortable with.

Di ko magets lowball?? Napapakiusapan ba yun na medyo dagdagan yung bayad samin?

I had the same experience ..all the while i thought.. ang ibabayad ng insurance ko noon sa akin is the one na nakalagay dun sa Insured Value..pero HINDI... fair market value pala..

now you may ask.. anong basis ng Insurance to assess the Fair Market Value.. yun ang hindi ko alam.. pero ang ginawa ko nagsearch ako ng mga ads for sale.

I declined their first offer and wrote them a letter and attached the copy of ads na nakita ko .... ang nangyari..nag meet halfway na lang.. yung additional value na nirequest ko ..half nun.. after that pumayag na ako..
