Sharing my very recent experience with getting a repossessed car: I shopped around in a number of banks for the past month and ended up with a 2004 Sentra GSX with 28k on the odometer. I got it from East-West, nag-walk in ako sa lot nila sa Festival Mall sa Alabang

    Heto mga nangyari
    1. the selling price was marked down from P380,000 to P350,000. Wala akong ginawang tawaran - I only hinted I was looking at other units from others
    2. not only was I allowed to start the unit, I was able to drive it around their parking lot
    5. walang spare tire yung unit.

Reservations ko lang are the following:
Parang humihina yung pedal, up to the point na di na kumakagat at stuck na yung kambyo. Napansin din nila yung humina, pero not as much as what I saw. After that, sa dalawang beses kong tinakbo, di na humina.

Try checking the Toyota Financial Services wherehouse in Yakal street in makati near SLEX and Buendia. Its usually there that Toyota cars that use their inhouse financing are kept.

I just noticed...di ba ang mga banks are only financing cars which are not older than 5 yrs..bakit ang daming vehicles na lampas 5 years and sometimes up to 10 yrs old na..Anu yun..matagal nang walang bumibili?

Most banks have a listing of their repossessed units in their websites. try visiting the following websites: www.bdo.com.ph, www.psbank.com.ph, www.mbtc.com.ph, www.eastwestbank.com, www.ucpb.com, www.bpi.com.ph, www.rcbc.com.ph.

I must warn you tho, most banks offer on an "as-is, where-is" basis their repossessed cars. Kaya better to bring a trusted mechanic when you plan to buy repo cars.
