Guys, ask lang ako ng feedback about Standard Insurance Co. Ok ba sila? Ibinigay ko na lahat ng documents na kailangan nila (kahit yung iba parang paulit-ulit lang) tapos according to them, aabutin daw ng 2 months PERO laging may caveat na DEPENDE SA GANITO, DEPENSE SA GANYAN, DEPENSE SA MGA BOSSING NAMIN...

I hope I could get feedback from you guys. Thanks.

pag na carnap parang 3 months ang waiting period before nila sabihin na "unrecover". pero sa standard sobrang tagal talaga diyan eons ago diyan insurance ng mga kotse namin...sobrang tagal mag process ng claims. never again

Ang matagal dyan kasi you have to secure a PNP report that states that your car is unrecoverable and usually this takes 60-90 days upon the filing that your car was stolen. Once mabigay mo the PNP certification, that is the only time that they can process the claim. This is SOP for all insurance companies. So depende na lang gaano katagal nila i process yung claim mo. I'm estimating around 5-6 months after filing the car was stolen is the time you will get your payment.

Ok na ako dun sa report from Crame (Certificate of Non-Recovery), it took me more than 2 months to get it.

Nag claim ako dahil nagka-dent ng malalim kotse ko, it's been 5 Months, never heard a word from them yet. 25K yung quote sa akin ng Casa, kaso according to them, di daw nila accredited ang Hyundai Casa, but I insisted, sabi ko for my peace of mind gusto ko sa Casa. Ayun 5 months have passed, wala pa rin nangyayari. Next year, goodbye Standard Insurance. I'm hearing good things sa non-life insurance ng UCPB. I'm going to try that next year.

Babayaran ka nila bro based dun sa Sum Insured or Fair Market Value ng auto mo at the time of loss.........less the deductible (a.k.a participation)

Say Sum Insured is P300k less P2k deductible = P298k yung babayaran sayo.

    HTH.

According sa T&C ng policy ko and sa explanation ng imbestigador ng Standard Insurance, ung Amount Insured or Fair Market Value less deductibles like participation. Pwede yung higher or lower of the two, depende raw sa kanila.

I'm from Pampanga, tapos sa SI Alabang insurance (dahil dun kumuha yung sales agent ko). Could it be due to my place being outside of Alabang/Las Pinas area ?

Sa mga matyaga mag follow up, siguro dahil nakukulitan sila. Ako naman di ako masyado nag follow up for two reasons:
    1) Sobrang busy ako, I work almost 16 hours a day (lagare ).

guys, just sharing my experience with standard (shaw), and a question.

    1. I got bumped from behind on a Saturday by a commercial van (dents and scratches).
    2. The next day (sunday) my 2 right doors got deep scratches (own damage).
    3. Monday I went to get MMDA report and proceeded to casa to have the damages estimated.
    4. I made kulit to the agent and she said that pwede ko na ipasok sa casa ang car pending LOA.
    5. Friday pinasok ko na ang car. Service said at least 7 days daw aayusin. (ang tagal!)
    6. Standard said they will be charging me participation fee of P2,000 each of the damage (third party & own damage). So bale P4,000 total.
    7. They said I will have to be the one to claim dun sa nakabangga sa akin.
    8. On Monday (the following week) and from thereon, I kept on following up the status of repair. I cant contact the service via landline. Buti na lang helpful ang HondaTXT.
    9. Then on Saturday, nakuha ko na car and paid participation fees. 7 working days nga!
    10. I have yet to receive payment from third party but I was told idadaan daw sa office ko yung check payment.

My question, kelangan bang 2 participation fee? Hindi ba pwedeng isa na lang? TIA!

pero halimbawa yung maliit na gasgas, 2k pa rin ba participation nun? or it depends upon the cost of damage.
