September 10th, 2011 08:48 PM #12According sa T&C ng policy ko and sa explanation ng imbestigador ng Standard Insurance, ung Amount Insured or Fair Market Value less deductibles like participation. Pwede yung higher or lower of the two, depende raw sa kanila.

I am now starting on the 4th year using standard insurance.

Could it be due to my place being outside of Alabang/Las Pinas area ?
Sa mga matyaga mag follow up, siguro dahil nakukulitan sila. Ako naman di ako masyado nag follow up for two reasons:
1) Sobrang busy ako, I work almost 16 hours a day (lagare ).

September 28th, 2011 01:28 AM #17guys, just sharing my experience with standard (shaw), and a question.
1. I got bumped from behind on a Saturday by a commercial van (dents and scratches).
2. The next day (sunday) my 2 right doors got deep scratches (own damage).
3. Monday I went to get MMDA report and proceeded to casa to have the damages estimated.
4. I made kulit to the agent and she said that pwede ko na ipasok sa casa ang car pending LOA.
5. Friday pinasok ko na ang car. Service said at least 7 days daw aayusin. (ang tagal!)
6. Standard said they will be charging me participation fee of P2,000 each of the damage (third party & own damage). So bale P4,000 total.
7. They said I will have to be the one to claim dun sa nakabangga sa akin.
8. On Monday (the following week) and from thereon, I kept on following up the status of repair. I cant contact the service via landline. Buti na lang helpful ang HondaTXT.
9. Then on Saturday, nakuha ko na car and paid participation fees. 7 working days nga!
10. I have yet to receive payment from third party but I was told idadaan daw sa office ko yung check payment.
My question, kelangan bang 2 participation fee? Hindi ba pwedeng isa na lang? TIA!
