On a monthly or annual basis, magkano expenses nyo to maintain your ride?

- fuel
- rego
- insurance
- repairs/maintenance
- etc

My crv is really old, I only use it every weekend...

Car Wash: 80pesos per month since i wash it by myself
Maintenance: 5k annually

Sana mabasa ng lahat ng nagpaplanong bumili ng una nilang sasakyan ang thread na to, hindi para i-discourage sila kundi para malaman nila kung handa ba ang kanilang wallet magmay-ari ng sariling sasakyan.

Vehicle : Vios 1.3 E AT model 2014
Regular Trips
Weekday : Calamba - Los Banos daily (wife ko regular na gumagamit)
Weekend : Either one or all of Nuvali, Tanauan, Bay
Fuel Consumption : 11-12 km/L mixed driving measured using Full tank method

Expenses for the year 2015 :
Gasoline : 60K per year or 5K per month at the price of 40-41 pesos per liter.
Insurance : 20.2K for the second year.
Maintenance : 10K estimate for the second year All Casa
10K pms - 3.5K
15K pms - 2.3K
20K pms scheduled this month - estimate is 4.5K
Toll Fee : 3.6K per year or 300 per month during weekends. Will spike up kung may byahe pa Manila or Batangas City.
Cleaning Tools (Carwash, cloth, wax, glass cleaner, etc) : 1.5 K - might be over estimated since di naman to nauubos in 1 year.
Parking : 1.2K per year for some occasional pay parking. Free parking si wife sa office nya.
Car Wash : 200 per year for the water bill. I always do the cleaning myself.
LTO Reg : Free for the first 3 years, will budget on the 4th year.

Wala naman na ata akong nakalimutan. No other repair/maintenance aside from regular PMS.

agree, at totoong may mga tao talagang atat lang magkaroon ng sasakyan kahit hindi naman talaga nila kailangan. yun bang poporma lang at feeling luxurious na kung sakaling magkaroon na ng auto.
sa mga pagkakataon na ganyan, naalala ko yun sabi ng tatay ko noon,,, kung may galit ka sa isang tao, kesa gawan mo ng masama eh kumbinsihin mo na lang kumuha ng sasakyan kung wala pa man sila at siguradong bawi ka na. mas maganda lalo kung hulugan

LOL. Natawa naman ako dito.

So much truth on that first sentence. I remember a former officemate who can barely make ends meet pero bumili pa ng kotse to impress a girl, but I would say a great investment dahil napasagot sya si tisay, lol.

Then a friend tried to convinced me to use my downpayment money for a house to buy a second hand car. Sya bumili, ako nag down sa bahay, sya nagre rent pa din up to this day, ako tapos ng magbayad.
