So far, Honda will void your warranty if you install an auto-LPG kit. Mazda will not void their warranty but claiming it would take a slightly longer process sice they will have to verify the problem didn't originate from the LPG conversion.

    Just like aftermarket mods.

Why dont the carmakers just produce cars with the mods since the customers will replace the stock wheels, tires, air filter, exhaust anyway...

Coz majority of customers dont do mods.

    ----

Majority of customers still fill up their gas tanks. Only some convert to LPG

Will you build the infrastructure first to provide the fuel source readily so that manufacturers will see a source of fuel, or do you build the cars first so refilling stations will invest on upgrading their pumps.
At least for auto-LPG in metro manila, the refueling stations are now available. So it's now a matter of the car makers to follow the trend.

The cost of marketing to make it OEM will not be profitable... Heck, you can't even convince a small pool of people in one forum despite solid scientific proofs, what more with teh general masses...

and also, people would want to maintain the all-orig condition of their cars for resale value.

In the very least, they should have gone about it in another way, have some company assigned as their officially accredited auto-LPG installer. In that way, it would give the people the option for people to buy new cars refitted with auto-LPG while retaining factory warranty.

regarding lpg-kits, siguro kasi hindi nila produkto ang lpg-fed engine at di nila natest ng maigi yun. so syempre, hindi nila isasalalay reputation nila kung sakaling may mangyaring masama sanhi ng lpg. kaya siguro kahit accreditation di nila magawa. it's some kind of a disclaimer.

so why didn't they research and develop their own lpg storage and injection system in the first place? in fact, mas ok sa US siguro to kasi piped in na yung LPG sa bahay nila diba? hmmm bakit nga ba? maybe kasi petroleum based pa rin ang lpg? kung sumikat ang lpg malamang magiging same price din sya ng gasoline? infrastructure? in summary, siguro kasi the trend is to veer away from fossil fuels and invest in renewable energy (ie. biofuels, hydrogen, wind, solar, etc). IMHO

why don't car manufacturers release a LPG fed car?
