malamang eto na ung gas with ethanol mix. bka 5% mix palang eto. patented ata etong mix na to a... ayaw sabihin ang components ng reformulation nila e.

i hope it does not contain ethanol, otherwise, its plain deception. they have to be transparent when it comes to ethanol, knowing that its not compatible with a lot of cars here.

yeah pero whether it's true or false nobody can't escape the biofuels law if it's going to be fully implemented here.

anyway, nakikita kong deception dito ay kung sakaling biofuel ito dapat mas mababa ang presyo nito sa unleaded gasoline (non-ethanol).

i have come to a conclusion that petron's new XCS blend isnt working for my engine the way that it was advertised. the old XCS was fine. i experienced a loss of torque. parang delayed ang timing ng spark ko. i just came from my mechanic and he adjusted the timing a bit but it didnt improve much. this never happened until the new XCS came out. i was using XCS for 2 years straight now. now i have to find another compatible gasoline blen from another company...any suggestions? bad trip talaga

as far as i know when implemented, it will simply give the motorists the option to either fill up with ethanol mix or yung regular without ethanol. tama ba understanding ko?

its not fair naman if all fuel available will have an ethanol mix, sort of ramming it down our throat.

When fully implemented, all fuel that will be sold here in the Philippines will contain minute amounts of ethanol or biodiesel.

the bio fuel law is inevitable i think. so what kind of modifications should be made to the fuel system sa mga current oto lalo na sa mga efi engines? kailangan pa ba o ok na yun stock setup?

i tried it last night, IMHO, my car didnt perform well, especialy in 1st & 2nd gears, naghihina yung makina ko before it can give power to the wheels. total shell user ako(v-power or s.unleaded), just tried this xcs last night kasi empty nko and petron lng mkta ko.
lets wait for the gurus to fill in

I think it's just a marketing gimmick. Just like what they did to its unleaded - it was renamed "Xtra". Then, they announced the "Xtra Mile Challenge".

bago ako nagpa gas kagabi tinanong ko kung may ethanol sya, sabi wala naman daw, hopefully wala nga, otherwise switch ako to another gas...

imho marketing gimmick lang...just stick sa fuel brand na hiyang sa kotse mo...
personally sa big 3 lang ako nagpapakarga...di maganda takbo ng civic ko sa Total...takot naman ako sumubok ng fuel sa ibang players....
