sir happy_gilmore salamat. so mga old models na sasakyan super premium dapat gamitin nila?kasi dba d nila kaya ng unleaded...
bos pissword, not necessarily. check mo lang kung san hiyang yung sasakyan mo.
my ex-singkit before can run on plain unleaded eh, although mas maganda takbo nya sa super premium before.
ask ko lang, im using shell unleaded and minsan silver.
pero anu anu ba difference nila, thay all claim +95 octane even yung mga small gas companies...
anu findings nyo.. which prefer nyo??
share nyo nalng mga insights nyo
shell unleaded, petron unleaded, and caltex vortex silver all have the same RON (93)
XCS plus, velocity and vortex gold naman ang 95 RON.
blaze ang nag-iisang 96 RON.
fedski bro, na discuss na dito yan ng maraming beses. pa search na lang po yung mga related threads.
i'll just share my observation to you peeps. i sometimes use shell unleaded on my car which is a civic sir. i've noticed some engine knocking at low rpms. i recently switched to petron unleaded and the knocking disappeared. is this because of the octane level?
I always use shell premium unleaded (RON 93) on my Civic Vti, wala naman akong napapansin na knock, tulad ng sabi ni ssaloon, baka nga contaminated yung nakakarga sa SIR mo.Originally Posted by wac3
its probably because of the station management...why?Originally Posted by wac3
meron kasing mga gas station that sells adulterated gasolines...some were even selling inferior ones or has low RON like what happened to UNO Fuel(may the management burn in hell for their unfair trade practices)...
kawawa ang mga motorista at mga nagnenegosyo ng tapat kaya dapat sa mga iyan eh tanggalan ng lisensya at prangkisa...
maging mapili sa pagpapakargahan...
baka mababa or contaminated yung supply of that particular shell station? both products should have the same octane rating kasi eh.
i've observed this for a long time now and i fill up at different gas stations, from shell retiro - shell magallanes. the thing is i'm a shell user for almost 3 years now. pero recently ko lang napansin yung knocking. i always fill up with petron unleaded now. btw, 89 RON ang recommended sa honda manual but i doubt na applicable yun dito sa atin kasi iba ang climate natin. philippines usually has a higher requirement for octane rating. the lowest being 93 while in the US, 89 ang lowest nila.Originally Posted by ssaloon
Actually, its 87 octane....not 89.the lowest being 93 while in the US, 89 ang lowest nila.
buti nalang meron na inspections ngaun sa octane ratings ng stations, wag lng sana tamarin maginspect mga authorities
