Yep. As long as not commercial class sizing.

So you are looking at models na around 6 to 10kgs max capacity lang. =)

    Back to the topic.

Share ko lang sa Mitsu Pizza model 2001. If you are not prepared, sakit talaga sa ulo. Example nalang nasa Tagaytay kami kasama si Erpat in law at si nobya, na-stuck 'yung throttle cable. We ended up taking the bus to Pasay, then taxi to Sucat. Damn!

As I recall, to summarize nalang siguro:
    - new throttle cable
    - brake pads, brake hose
    - Radiator na tanso mga almost 6k
    - Engine supports
    - Front shocks and springs
    - rear springs
    - from 17s binalik sa 15s kasi sumasayad 15k (kasama na gulong)
    - aircon compressor
    - mga headlights

as of this moment, madami pa ipapagawa like:
    - MAF sensor
    - bushing sa likod
    - aircon compressor (or 'yung buong aircon na...)
    - ayaw basahin ng OBD-II reader

Again, buy second hand if you want to explore siguro. Be prepared sa sakit sa ulo. prepare an emergency fund for car repairs in general...

    Good luck.

You can also check sa mga facebook groups paps.

    Same here, hehe.

While still saving up, i'm still undecided if kukuha ng brandnew car na hulugan tapos invest my remaining money for business para kikita pa rin. Or buy in cold cash for a lesser price a slighty used 2-3 year old of same car that i like.

Do you have a car now? If so, what's wrong with it?

If you have a very credible investment plan, with timelines and rates of return, then focus on investing the money. Use the earnings later on to buy a car. A not-so-hands-on investor with ₱1,000,000 can easily make another ₱1,000,000 in 5 years.

Now if you don't have a concrete investment plan, don't even think about getting a car because that's practically just throwing money away.

Masarap magka-kotse, pero mas masarap magkapera.

Hi guys! Share ko lang yung experience ko when I bought my 1996 Toyota Corolla Gli M/T (Big Body)

May nakita ako sa facebook marketplace last Sept 2018 na 1996 na Big body Gli. Around a few months before that, nagreresearch na talaga ako if ano mas okay, Big body na Gli, since hanap ko sa auto nun is basta power windows, power steering, maganda aircon, okay makina, at okay suspension. I was choosing between Big Body na Gli and Lovelife na XE (Since may lovelife XE na may power windows, pero sobrang rare siya and 1.3 carb engine). So ayun, first prospect ko is malapit lang sa village namin. Chineck namin ni erpats yung Big Body Gli malapit sa amin, chineck lahat pati body works, kaso may isang sabit: Pag-bukas ng oil cap, talsikan lahat ng langis, so malamang may blowby. Ekis.

So yung second prospect namin, pinuntahan namin. Big Body Gli rin. Okay makina, okay suspension, okay aircon. Overall okay naman. May minor issues lang like putol trunk cable, putol odometer, pero at least it wouldn't stop from running the car naman. Budget ko was around 100-130k. Initial price was at 115k, eh yung nakita naming talsik sa engine, ginamit naming leverage para makatawad. Ayun, nakuha namin 100k, pirma DOS, bigay OR/CR, abot pera, tapos :D

Good for you na naihaggle pa.
Sometimes sellers just want to dispose their car asap. Most of the time, to make room for a new one.

    Kaya important ang marunong tumingin.
Pero kung haggle agad without justification, well, iba na yon. Hehehe

Yessir! Actually buy and sell yung pinag-bilhan ko. I don't really mind basta okay engine and overall, okay naman. Though slight issue lang is, yung IDs na naibigay sa akin was expired, baka harangin sa transfer process ng LTO. Good thing na-track down ko yung may-ari based sa address sa CR, and luckily enough, he was able to provide 2 valid IDs na photocopy, and ayun, it was successfully transferred to my name

Thanks sir for your remarkable insights. Appreciate it.
Especially the last part, hehe. Totoong mas masarap magkapera.

My family has a 90's sedan which served us well but already sold it away..
When i got married, i only settled for just a motorcycle going for work.
By the time i got kids, a scooter won't now benefit a family of four.
Tried to buy a very cheap old school sedan and a minivan multi cab, but it only ended giving me headaches and disappointments. So got rid of them and started saving instead.

Short story,we became small entrepreneurs and we're doing well(internet cafe, buying and selling computers, and other online stuffs). Now i'm thinking of buying even just a Hatchback for affordability and efficiency.
Will be used overall for business and some family trips.
My scooter can still accommodate but obviously not for a family hehe.
With a bad history of owning some in the past, made me come into this crossroad.

Anyway, i'm reading threads similar to this dilemma.
Sometimes the needs now dominates over the wants.
Again thanks for the advice. More Power!!
