check first your manual kung ano ang required octane rating ng makina mo kasi ang XCS 95RON yung unleaded ng petron (93RON ? not sure). kung masmababa naman ang required octane ng engine ok lang kahit unleaded, i think wala namang magiging additional benefit pag masmataas ang ginamit mong octane rating, mas mapapamahal ka pa.

i used to load xcs on my old corolla gli. 96 model din. dun ramdam ko ang benefits ng higher octane rating: smooth ang takbo at more fuel-efficient.

May 24th, 2011 11:51 PM #8hindi po mali, higher octane means hindi siya gaano mag pre detonate so slow burning po ang higher octane fuel, higher octane gasoline is only good for high compression engines (newer and racing engines), check your manual, if your going to use high octane on low compression engines ang resulta hindi nga gaano mag vibrate ang engine mo (smooth) thats because hindi mabilis ang pag ignite ng fuel which leads to crappy FC. google niyo "high octane myth". Bakit babagal ang takbo sa new engines with regular unleaded? answer is the anti knock sensor kicks in and retads the timing kasi nag knock na makina mo sa pre denoation.
