Fuel Consumption querry

I have a Delica 2.5 SE TD automatic which only averages 8.2 km/liter. Is it normal?

I also have a 98 Pajero (Tonka body) 2.5 TDIC manual that averages 9.8 km/liter.

I know that matic transmissions really are thirstier than that of manuals', but is this normal? If no, pa-advice naman what to check.

Well, I think it's normal since most Delicas here in the Phils are auctioned most of them are relatively 5 years old. for better fuel economy change your driving habits and have your engine tuned-up.
