hi all, just started my dmax on biodiesel by flying v. ok kaya yun? so far, smooth pa naman ang andar. saka walang amoy. ang kinis pa. data on fuel consumption will soon follow.

ah i mean yung isang litro ng bio diesel?

meron sila nakahalo na sa diesel?magkano narin po?

thanks!mejo malayo ang mga flying v dito kaya diko alam...pati naman sea oil pero baka makatipid parin.hehehe

di ko sure yung 1L. pero nasa 70 something yata. yup meron nang nakahalo, not sure with the name- diesel premium yata. :D

I have a friend who used 1% biodiesel since the first day he got his Innova, up till now wala pa ring problem.

P125/liter and biodiesel ng Flying V at Seaoil. Yan ang price as of September, 2005. Mas mura and senbel at chemrez biodiesel. Mag back search ka if interested to know where you can buy them.

Lord, I just pulled out my innova E from toyota for the 5K pms. My service advisor knows of my use of BD, and he knows about my problem on the cold start. So I asked him to check my fuel tank's diesel, and the bottom by draining it. Nagtaka siya bakit but I said wanted to know if there were any contaminants directly or indirectly related to my BD use. He reported this morning my diesel fuel is clear, and my tank bottom is clean. I queried to him my chief mechanic's theory on the loose filter, and he said it is possible, as it would cause air into the system and may cause fuel knock. When I asked him what would have caused the loose filter, sabi niya he can't really say, pwede along the way from the previous checkup lumuwag siya, o maluwag siya talaga, di lang napansin tapos sa kakagamit, lumuwag na talaga.

On my own, to be sure, I am pre inspecting my BD to look for specific contaminants from BD which I have noticed, and only pour clear, clean BD.
