I have a toyota innova diesel G. When I started using envirotek from flying v for almost two weeks ok nman. next i tried puoring just 1% of estrol for a week. but when i read the fact na dapat 5% muna for a week, i increase the amount to 5%. kaso, napansin ko na during starting the engine, namamatay agad. i would need to rev the engine para ndi malunod. the following morning, parang kumakadyot pag shifting ng gear. kaso nawala din to nung ngtagal. ang problema ko lng ngayun ung starting lalu na pag early morning. tlgang rev ka muna. i tried decreasing na rin tp 1% ganun pa rin. i am now thinking bka ihonto ko muna pag gamit ng biodiesel.

Please advise

use only 1% they will recommend 5% so that there will be higher sales. 1-3% is enough. 1% is enough

I believe this has something to do with clogged fuel filters as mentioned in previous posts.

Tumaas na pala price ng BD, practical pa rin ba pag gamit nito? Aside from of course the beneficial results of using it.

Will casa recommend replacing the clogged fuel filter?

Actually i consulted with casa during my 15K pms. sabi ok lng nman daw ang biodiesel. nung dinala ko kc mainit na ung makina kaya ndi na nmamatay o nalulunod pag inistart. pag umaga lang o galing sa mahabang pagkapatay.
I dunno if it has something to do with the disel. kc parang mas ok ung sa shell kaysa sa petron.

Same experience with my innova. Parang hirap mag start pag umaga, I was then using 2%. But when lowered BD to 1% it never happened again. Are we missing something?

Lord, I also experienced that with my unit, but am only at 1%. Had it checked with my company mechanic, he noticed maluwag ang fuel filter when he was about to remove it and inspect the filter. Anyway, he continued to inspect and the filter was clean. After he returned the filter and tightened it, ok na, nawala yung problema. This was mentioned on post #95 of my biodiesel fuel economy thread, dated September 29.

Exactly like yours, sa cold start, namamatay, you have to rev until you heat up the engine, tapos wala na ang problema. Weird, why it is related to a loose filter. Why it was loose when no one touched it is another weird part.

Are you sure it is just bec of a loose filter? Has anyone else here tried using biodiesel for an innova?

Yep, been using Senbel Estrol BD in my Innova since last August only (2,100 km. on odometer when I started) - up to today, so far no problem. I only use B1.8 blend (i.e I pour in 1-liter BD for 55li full tank) for convenience.

I didn't start with B5-there's no need to go this high blend since my engine is still new, just low maintenance dose (B1~2) is ok with me.
