I use Caltex Gold. Haven't tried Shell. Next time siguro pag nag-open na yung malapit samin and if more or less same lang sila ng price nung caltex.

Iba response. Especially on my Focus S TDCi. It feels more eager especially on overboost, more gusto.

Carb or efi. Like sa STi, iba ung feel climbing the rpms, and the torque entry feels more abrupt. Maybe the ecu's ignition timing is more advanced using this fuel, maybe.

Hehe

because they can. they have a refinery here. and it's a corporate decision.
but if you are asking who on earth uses RON 93, i do not know..

Found some few articles that you might find interesting:

Is Cheap Gas Bad for Your Car?

Basically, it just reiterates what I've been saying that all base fuels are mostly the same, but nagkakatalo lang sa additives. In fact in the Philippines, sometimes yung binibenta sa independent station is exactly the same as what the branded company sells.
