my best recomendation is buy the cheapest fuel you can find...
wala na arte arte na kailangan ng 95+ octane ang sasakyan, hindi naman performance/racing car iyan...
a regular unleaded petrol with 93+ octane will suffice...
since your driving a Nissan Cefiro, which has a V6 engine i guess that you have lots of money in which cost of fuel rising is not a problem with you... so i therefore recommend that you fill up your car with PETRON BLAZE, which has the highest octane rating 96+ compared to SHELL V-POWER...
"FEEL THE V-6 POWER" DAW!!!

afaik, the cefiros manufactured from 97-99 require 95 octane fuel. i tried to be a cheapskate by loading shell's 93 octane, all i got was rough idling end engine knock.
i loaded up with blaze and ok na ulit. next fill up XCS na lang. sobra mahal ng blaze. hehe.

Now I know why ang baba resale value ng mga late 90's na Cefiro (sub P200,000) kasi 95 octane pala. Yung Camry and Accord of the same year could run on even 91 octane.

June 27th, 2008 01:06 PM #20Had been using caltex gold for 3 years. no problems. Good FC. Got it converted to lpg for 1 month na. No problems so far. FC is still the same. No discernible power loss.
Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
