for me parang mas ok yung mahal ang gas kasi mas sandali ang biyahe and lost time is something you can't buy..
mahal na gas pero no traffic
mura na gas pero sobrang traffic

I will take the P35/L anytime. I will just leave early para makaabot. Even if your FC suffers P85 to P35 is P50 peso difference and no matter how bad the traffic I don't think you will be burning that much fuel anyway...
Traffic is my worse enemy.
i also prefer the high price of gas but without traffic. for one:
a. traffic is stressful to the engine and is stressful to the clutch and brakes, maski A/C system.
b. you can negate at least part of the cost of fuel if your trip is tuloy-tuloy. imagine, if you are consuming fuel at 16 kpl at pure highway and at 11 kpl at traffic, you can get more mileage.
c. time is really important to me.
You guys have a point but at P85 vs P35 malaki kaya yun, thats a P50 difference. Maybe P55 vs P35 I would say yes to that pero sa exampole ng TS masyadong malaki yung P85...
Although the thought of less traffic is tempting, I'd still go for cheaper gas. But higher gas prices brings more problems. Inflation, unemployment, poverty and starvation to name a few.
I'd go for less traffic. Matira nalang matibay.
Kahit afford ko ang mataas na gas, I still think of the common good.
given the above situation.. in theory.. they will just equate... (not considering other factors like driving style etc...)
you buy EXPENSIVE fuel yet consume LESS fuel due to good traffic flow and reach your destination ON-TIME..
you buy CHEAP fuel yet consume MORE fuel due to traffic and reach your destination LATE..
anyways it will depend on your strategies and how to handle the situation for your advantage
I would prefer na mahal na gas pero no traffic.
I will then get a car with a very high FC to compensate for the cost of gas per km. Since less traffic, will consume less gas naman.
