Gasoline prices are down from like P50 or more per liter years ago.
Hassle kung papa-convert ka pa ngayon kung kaya tiisin yung presyo ng gas.

Have heard that 2006 models and below are best candidates for lpg upgrades as there are no valve recessive issues. Seems lpg eats and corrodes valves of newer cars BUT europe uses a flashlube kit system to address that.

*lew_alcindor - am trying to convert a 4.7 v8 sir. The cost of p75k for a v8 lpg kit is the current 2-3 month fuel expense on petrol for a v8. Still a bit high even with the low fuel cost nowadays. Also, i feel larger vehicles are safer on the road, especially if you meet an accident, and much more comfortable to drive and for passengers to ride. Theyre also cheaper to buy if you check ads nowadays....expeditions and e150s are now only p200k.

*sirkosero - thanks i called them already. They sell the Zavoli sgi kit. Was just wondering what happened to the highly revered tartarini kits a few years ago for v6 and v8 engines. Cant even find them on the net.

^ i think tartarinis are the ones mainly used for carbs. They have zavoli kits for fuel injected cars.

They also have flashlube (or something like that)

Xoom has the JLM Valve Saver kit, for added lubrication and protection. My Revo's Zavoli Smile kit is probably on its 3rd year, and still OK. Needs an annual tuning only, and JLM fluid refills.

A certain Remulla was a customer of a different Auto LPG Kit Installer. I am just not sure if the Remulla you are saying is the person in this article.

For auto-LPG users, it’s all about cost per kilometer - Motioncars | Motioncars

The Tartarini (and Lovato) brands were carried by the GoLPG installer (this 'company' was part of the Autohub Group). Back in 2014 when I was researching for AutoLPG use in the Philippines, GoLPG seemed to be 'the best' among installers. But, I couldn't find them nor reach them. Their FB page is no longer updated.

    Valve Seat Recession (VSR)
You might find this article informative. It explains what are the causes of VSR, why do some engine types suffer VSR when others do not, among others.

I'm from Rizal and I saw an LPG Converting shop in Cleanfuel Marcos Highway, but I had my Auto LPG kit "redone" by Xoom Auto LPG in Timog 3 years ago. Service and Parts are very good as compared to my previous kit. My previous installer ran out of parts and I was directed to Xoom. My LPG car is on it's 10th year now. I'm very much satisfied with it.

That's good to hear Sir. I've also seen those ads at CleanFuel Stations. But I was skeptic. I had mine done by Xoom also more than two years ago. Very nicely done and neat...engine bay looks the same before and after installation. We went up to Ligñon Hill as well as Baguio thru Kenon. No loss of power.

Lately, I've noticed Unioil is no longer selling Auto LPG, at least in my route as well as the Petron at Makati Ave corner Buendia. Other than CleanFuel (and maybe Metro Oil), do you know of any other stations offering Auto LPG?

Someone from Ford Escape Club installed auto LPG kit sa unit nya. Sa pakikipag-usap ko sa kanya, so far no issues over a year now. And now, I'm still deciding if I'll sell my Escape and buy Xpander or go through LPG kit route.

Galing ako dun last month. They do PMS sa mga installed LPG kits nila. Pero hindi na sila nag o order ng new LPG Kits (Zavoli). According to Reggie, they do transfer na lang of installed kits from one vehicle to another. Pero kung tataas ang demand, who knows.

By the way, his underbone runs on LPG as well as ung sa kasama niya.
