    Hi R8,

Can you give me an idea on how much a kit would cost for my Cefiro and for my Venture? Really want to convert but have not found a kit that suits my needs and my budget.

Can you also explain how your kit works, its features and any pertinent information to help us understand this better.

    Thanks.

A wide band oxygen meter would fit the requirement. Fusion R (E.Rod Sr in QC) has one. You can try asking Auto_Xer (Ferman) regarding how much (expensive) it actually costs.

Basically the O2 meter will tell you the air-fuel ratio from a sensor in the car's tail-pipe. Ideally gasoline a/f is 14.7:1 and LPG is 15.5:1 ...

You can find Auto_xer at www.kotse.com. You can drop him a PM there.

we can accept kits that is not from us but we still have to check if its a minor or major job.
if you can do this with good results, I think you will have a number of customers from tsikot.com waiting in line.

since you're still on the planning stage for LPG conversion kits, may I suggest considering conversion kits for diesel engines. I am sure many tsikot members here are waiting for it. I for one might consider coverting mine.... if budget permits...

    Hello,

I ordered a Tartarini dual system for my W124 Mercedes today. My current fuel bill is at around Php 2500-3000 a week. Based on my computations, since I travel 100kms daily, I will recoup my investment in 20 weeks. They made a demo at my house today, and I, the most skeptic skeptic in town, am totally convinced that this the best move I will make.

If this works well for a year, I shall convert my other two vehicles, a V6 and a fuel injected 2.3 four....

R8 thanks! You can email me at woodfire*info.com.ph if you already have a system for the '67 mustang. It has a V8 engine and a 4-barrel carburetor.

hi userfriendly, as of now we are still negotiating the price of the kits so that we can have the cheapest but will not sacrifice the quality.

there are 2 types of lpg kit. Traditional has a back fire of around 2-5% while the sequential type is an ecu type that will change the settings that will suit your engines. sequential cost more but it is recommended than the traditional. but some of you has concerns with budget kaya u can go with traditional type. there is really no problem with traditional type but mas ok ang sequential. so if u have the money then go with sequential. Niadds is offering traditional kits which people dont have the chance to choose what they really like to put in their cars.
    Thanks.

    if it's any help,
this wide-band oxygen sensor is only $280.

    mind-boggling naman yung $8k.
    http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/zt2/zt2.htm

most "modern" cars already have wide-band oxygen sensors. ang alam ko sub-$100 yung sensor mismo. and how much is an ECU? if it's good enough for a n OEM car manufacturer, it ought to be good enough for tuning, right?

For your car, probably around 25-28k, since I did a lot of research, the only way for you to mess up an LPG conversion is to get a lousy installer. These guys know what they do, and they answered all my questions to my satisfaction-- remember, LPG works better with EFI engines compared to our carb cars but the power loss we'll experience will be negligible. Go to www.tartariniauto.it to have a preview.... my order will be available by October, so I'll know firsthand by then.

79, if you're gonna order it abroad, who's gonna install it for you? Is there a local installer which is accredited by tartarinauto ?

30K for EFI or carb engine?

I assume that's the HANA LPG kit from Korea?

There's a group here. Let me have it installed first before I recommend. I might be able to get it done this week, as long as I go with the conventional tank. If I get the spare wheel well tank, it'll take longer.

    1979,

Are you referring to Ambi Enterprises located near Timog Ave? I went there last Friday and they showed me 3 cars which they have converted - a BMW, an F150, and a Nissan Sentra. Honestly, I'm impressed with their workmanship. I also wanted the donut shape tank but they said their shipment will arrive end of September so I guess I'll have to wait for that and of course your feedback if ever you decide to go with the conventional tank. By the way my car is a 2000 mitsubsihi lancer carb type and they estimated the cost to be P35,000 exclusive of VAT. If I go for the conventional tank it's P30,000. How much did they quote you for your car?

Yes I am. They just have to make a template for my carb on Saturday. Quote was for 25-28k. I drove their Optra.... I was convinced!
