not hard to do. You'll just need to rotate the distributor & someone with a timing gun to check the amount of advance.

Sorry if OT but just want to share a way I found to save on pollen filter replacements. Did this with my Venture, not sure if it will work with other models. What do is pull them out and clean them using toothbrush and soapy water, let them dry then install. It worked. My aircon was hot before I did this, after cleaning ok na ulit.

Walang timing light? Ano klase shop yan paano sila nag tune up ng kotse?

If you have the time, try visiting both NAIADSS and MACRO LPG kit installation centers and talk to the people who previously had their cars converted to run on LPG, especially those who have returned for some "tuning". This can give you some insight of possible problems you might encounter which can be helpful if you have the same model of car.

Most complains are either the vehicle comsumes too much LPG or idling problems. The koreans at NAIADSS seems to address this problem by "re-tuning" the LPG kit by hand (without any other tools like air-fuel meters, etc).

I am not trying to discourage you but I am just trying to give you the reality of the situation.

hi there, i am seriuosly considering converting my 1988 nissan sentra to lpg. and i am canvassing now different installers in this forum. however no one ever mentions SKN gas equipments. (made in india daw ito ). they are also installers of LPG conversion kits. just want to know kung meron ng nagtry ng services nila. medyo mura sa kanila 23,500 pesos for my car. ang number nga pala nila 6333480 and 6333438 they are located at kapitoly pasig. kung meron ng nagtry, please share naman the experience.

    yup!

problems? well, typical talyer kind of stuff like you have to watch the installation so everything is cleaned up if they start screwing it up together. Make sure the wires are tied up and not hanging down, those kinds of thing.

Chances are you will need to revisit NAIADSS to retune your LPG kit.

pareho lang ba ang consumption ng petrol at lpg sa kotse mo? coz may mga nakakausap ako na pareho lang daw tapos others say mas malakas daw ang lpg sa pagkonsumo..

ano ba ang advantages ng mas bagong lpg kits other than having newere parts and technologies? mas economical ba talaga compared to the older gens ng lpg kits like that of naiadss and macro?

well, frankly my first tank is a bit heavy on the consumption. I went back to NAIADSS and had the koreans take a look. They "tuned" the kit so I am still trying it out if there is any improvement. At the moment, the engine is smoother now.
